Doing More For Our Planet

Leveraging the power of our collective of brands to design a more equitable and sustainable world.

Our 2030 Sustainability Goals

To help improve the health of our planet and communities, we plan to:

Reduce carbon footprint

Reduce the carbon footprint from our products and operations by 50 per cent and aim to reduce the carbon footprint of our suppliers.

Design out waste

Stop using single-use plastics and substantially reduce all types of waste.

Source better materials

Use 50 per cent or more recycled content and purchase materials that are responsibly and sustainably produced.

Our sustainability progress

Our brands have been working hard to design a more sustainable world. Learn more about our impact below:

Increasing recycled content

Muuto’s Fiber Chair uses 80 percent recycled material; Herman Miller’s Eames Shell Chair uses 100-percent post-industrial recycled plastic.

We’re helping to keep furniture out of landfills with schemes like rePurpose in North America and the Take-Back Programme by NaughtOne in the UK.
